General Description of the Organization:IMPACT – Civil Society Research and Development e.V. , founded in Berlin in 2013, is a non-profit civil society organization with offices in Iraq, Turkey and Syria. Civil society support is the core of IMPACT’s mission through long-term and balanced support to individuals and organizations in the conflict and developed countries. IMPACT’s main areas of intervention are capacity building, research, peacebuilding, and diaspora engagement. Job purpose:The Capacity Building Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing capacity building activities for a three-year USG funded program (under negotiation) supporting civil society. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and implementing capacity building programs for civil society organizations and will work closely with program staff, grantees, and partners to ensure that program activities are implemented efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with USG regulations and policies.
