Position description

The Capacity Development Technical Coordinator duties are coordination with the Programs Department and Project Managers and external experts contracted to insure the high quality of the implementation of the planned activities that developing the capabilities of the incubated institutions in the work areas.
Roles and responsibilities

  1. Developing activities to build the technical and knowledge capacities of the field work team in order to contribute to the achievement of the program objectives
  2. Developing, updating and structuring the IMPACT’s training and operational tools and manuals and approving the final developed versions of them at the end of the program period.
  3. Contribute to developing Capacity development’s methodologies and strategies in accordance with the requirements of the programs and IMPACT’s strategy to be applied in the work areas.
  4. Coordinate the external service providers’ works at the technical level.
  5. Supervising the implementation of the organization’s general training plan, submitting technical development proposals and best implementation practices according to developments in the context
  6. Implementation of specialized training programs to develop the capabilities of the field trainers according to the requirements of the project
  7. Submit periodic reports to the respective project managers and program manager about achievements and recommendations.

Requirements / Qualifications


  • At least 3 years’ experience at technical managing / coordinating level for capacity development activities in civil work organizations.
  • Practical experience in Syrian / regional context.
  • Experience in planning / managing multiple project activities.
  • Experience in managing / coordinating the remotely work.

Academic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university diplomas related to practical experience, the following specializations are preferred: “Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, Political Sciences”
  • Speak and write Arabic and English fluently
  • Good Computer skills
  • Skills in communication, conflict and team relations management
