General Description of the Organization: IMPACT – Civil Society Research and Development e.V. , founded in Berlin in 2013, is a non-profit civil society organization with offices in Iraq, Turkey and Syria. Civil society support is the core of IMPACT’s mission through long-term and balanced support to individuals and organizations in the conflict and developed countries. IMPACT’s main areas of intervention are capacity building, research, peacebuilding, and diaspora engagement. Project descriptionIMPACT aims to support youth groups and local activists, especially women by building their capacities support and funding their initiatives, in both Raqqa and DZ through the “Youth Facilitators for Peace” concept, which aims to create safe spaces for confidence-building, dialogue and social initiatives to empower the role of youth and women within their communities. Job purpose:The project manager will be responsible for the design and implementation of the project and activities within IMPACT’s program framework and in line with IMPACT’s standards. design and implementation of activities. The Manager will be responsible for the development of the projects’ budget, tools, and overall supervision of projects’ activities to ensure proper implementation with full adherence to donors’ requirements. Also, He/she will be responsible for building partnerships with actors within the civil society sector as well as the design of training and mentorship plans. The Project Manager will work with IMPACT’s Director of Programs and other staff members to identify new opportunities to extend civil society programs.
