Mapping Syrian Civil Society Actors – Phase II
Mapping Syrian civil actors started in October 2015 as a capacity assessment of Syrian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
The organizational capacity assessment tool was developed by Citizens for Syria team and filled by 748 organizations in direct interviews by our field researchers and supervisors in all Syrian provinces and neighboring countries
The study main outputs are the final report, multiple interactive charts, and a secure platform for raw data:
The Report is an qualitative analysis presents trends and main aspects of CSOs, also provides a comparison of properties of those organizations between different control areas
As for the interactive charts, an easy and strong way to focus on some technical issues of the organizations without losing the general picture, they’re designed to interact with the user to easily reach the relevant information.
The database platform: an online software was built to house the detailed profiles of interviewed and studied organizations, The platform will be accessible to certain agencies upon request, either donors, research centers or even syrian networks want to expand its reach to new partners.
